Subtask 0b – Antonello Sala (P1, CNR)
Minutes of the kick-off meeting (KM) will be made by the coordinator and circulated.
Subtask 0a – Antonello Sala (P1, CNR)
An orientation meeting (OM) will be made to introduce and familiarize partners with the project program, experimental protocols and set of procedures. The OM minutes will ensure standardized procedures and guarantee regular communications and collaborations among the partners during the Pilots and data collection. As requested during the Kick-off meeting, full details of the experimental fishing gears will be provided.
Subtask 0a – Antonello Sala (P1, CNR)
Minutes of the interim meeting (IM) will be made by the coordinator and circulated. These coordination meeting minutes will keep all partners informed about the progress of the project in all gear/area combinations and to discuss the results, the plan and where corrective actions are necessary.
Subtask 0a – Antonello Sala (P1, CNR)
A summary on the identification of the suitable solutions to be transferred to trawling fishing vessels that have been identified so far.
Subtask 1a – Emilio Notti (P1, CNR)
Description and application of methodologies aimed to estimate fuel consumption and carbon emission by fleet segments. Methodologies presented will be a top-down methodology that relies on open access data and a fully functional R-based procedure that allows a bottom-up estimation of the performance of fleets in terms of carbon footprint.
Subtask 1b – Tommaso Russo (P5, CONISMA)
Results of the potential fuel consumption by fleet segment after the implementation of gear modifications will be presented and compared with actual estimated fuel consumption levels. Therefore, an assessment of the effectiveness of gear modifications in the reduction of overall carbon emissions will be presented.
Subtask 1c – Anna Nora Tassetti (P1, CNR)
Release of the working carbon footprint verification module. Mechanisms (smart contract) to distribute NFTs/credits based on verified mitigation data.
Subtask 1d – Andrea Rosini (S1, Differens)

Subtask 1d – Andrea Rosini (S1, Differens)
Analyses of other relevant elements that could contribute to the decarbonization of the trawling fishing fleet.
Subtask 1d – Andrea Rosini (S1, Differens)
The systematic database - and associated report - will include all the collected records (reports, scientific papers) retrieved after searching for “Technological-economic analysis for the energy transition of the fisheries sector” topic.
Subtask 1e – Maria Cristina Mangano (P14, SZN)
